Agreement
Zone2 Engine is provided by Darko Jovanovski, an independent developer based in North Macedonia ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
Health and safety
Zone2 Engine is a fitness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, take medication that affects heart rate, are pregnant, or have any health concerns.
- Heart rate readings from watches, straps and phones can be inaccurate or delayed. Zones, targets and estimates are approximations.
- Listen to your body. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel chest pain, dizziness, faintness or unusual shortness of breath, whatever the app shows.
- Stay aware of your surroundings. Don't look at your screen when it isn't safe, for example while crossing a road or cycling in traffic.
AI-written content
On supported iPhones, the weekly plan and coach messages are written by Apple's on-device language model. The numbers (minutes, targets, days) come from the app's training rules, but the wording is generated and can occasionally be unclear or wrong. Treat it as guidance, not professional coaching or medical advice, and use your own judgement.
Zone2 Engine Pro and subscriptions
- The core app is free. Zone2 Engine Pro unlocks extra features and is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Where a free trial is offered, it applies to new subscribers of the plan shown. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
- All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's policies. Nothing here limits refund or withdrawal rights you have by law.
- We may change Pro features or prices. Price changes for an existing subscription follow Apple's rules, including asking for your consent where required.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA and Apple's Usage Rules.
Acceptable use
Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app; don't try to bypass purchases or security; and don't use the app in a way that breaks the law or harms others.
Third-party services
The app works with Apple Health, Apple Watch, Bluetooth sensors, other watches and, if you choose, Strava. Those products and services are provided by their owners under their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them. Mentioning a brand doesn't mean it endorses Zone2 Engine.
Ownership
The app, its design, text, graphics and code belong to us or our licensors. Your data is yours: workouts and health data remain in your Apple Health and on your devices.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose, and we don't promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. If you're a consumer, you keep the statutory rights you have under the laws of your country, and nothing here limits them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury or loss arising from exercise or from relying on readings or suggestions in the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, no warranty and liability) continue after that.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Skopje, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or apply its mandatory protections. We'd always prefer to sort things out first: email us.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
